ESPHome 2025.7.2 has broken my tagreader

I've tried to update it by OTA, failure.
I've tried to plug the tagreader directly into the machine running HA and ESPHome, failure.

These are the logs, where you can see there is an exception, and it keeps rebooting...
Stuck in a bootloop.

As soon as I plug it back in HA, it needs to update and then fails again...
No fancy configuration here :
