Time required for file analysis

Is it normal for the file analysis post-record to take as long as the duration of the recording? I seem to recall it was a lot quicker when I first started using Vrecord but I could be imagining it...

It’s been taking that long for me with our M4 Mac and the 7/25 release.

Going to re-open this until I have a chance to poke at it a bit more - I haven't had time to do any full testing yet, but post-analysis happening at 1x speed seems slow.
