Upgrade to Python 3

Just creating this to show my interest in this project. I am currently trying to convert it myself but this is my first time using C with Python, so any hints from anyone would be very welcome.

Cool. Haven't done anything myself with the Python 3 C API, so don't have any tips to offer - I'm sure a lot has changed in 20+ years. Hope you can get it going again - those old games were a blast to play.
