Error: An instance of riak-shell is already running

while i input a "riak-shell" in terminal i found that "An instance of riak-shell is already running", i stop the riak service ,start it and try again. The same problem shows again. So how can i go to the running riak-shell and do other things (such as create table,insert data...). Any one could give me a help. Thanks!!!!

ok, i get over it by entering root mode and kill the process. The reason why this issue appeared is that i did not quit the shell in a right way. - -||
