Is your fork production ready?

Hey bittrance, thanks for taking up the gauntlet and pushing forward with rxRuby! I've been using rxJava for a good while now, and I've just been handed a Rails backend. I would love to be able to use Rx on it! Is your fork production ready?

The conservative answer would be no. This is because 1) I'm still removing some esoteric operators that are no longer in RxJS and 2) because there is not enough concurrency testing. Also, there will probably be a few more interface changes along the way.

Having said that, as long as you keep to the operators that have received proper test coverage and don't use too much threading, you should be fine. I expect to get to (more or less) full logic coverage in a month or so. At this point, I will release a gem.
