S3 Backup Installed but not performing backups

Hi,

I managed to install and configure the App in my AWS hosted ERPNext instance, and it did create the S3 Bucket correctly, however, it is not performing any backups, even though I configured it for the daily option.

What am I missing??

seeing similar results was able to validate and save but when I run no eerors in the log and app say S3 Backup Started! but it does not end up on s3.

I cannot comment on your problem, but can confirm that S3 backups are made quite happily on my system running vers 9.2.4

it creates the bucket by saving it in ERPNext s3 integration but then errors with this in frappe web.log:
Error uploading: Failed to upload ./server.company.com/private/backups/20171108_130642-server_company_com-files.tar to ERPNextBackup/20171108_130642/20171108_130642-server_company_com-files.tar: An error occurred (NoSuchBucket) when calling the PutObject operation: The specified bucket does not exist

as the error says The specified bucket does not exist. You need to create the bucket first

As I said when I use the s3 integration in ERPNext it creates the bucket and I can see it in the s3 console so I am unsure why the backup cannot see it as obviously it is using the credentials to create the bucket. the app has no function e creating a bucket as i have remember coding it. The bucket should be created manually and input it to the settings

Well perhaps it has been modified because when I go into my s3 console and delete bucket if I then go back to ERPNext s3 backup under integration input secret keys and new bucket name it is created every time with the new bucket or if I leave the old bucket it is there right next to the new one in the s3 console? You will notice the erpnextbackuptoprovethepoint bucket that I just did solely as described above from ERPNext not in s3….
