If we need charts on the results page, we will need a library which can generated HTML/SVG/PNG or any other format we could include in the page.

We haven't chosen the language we'll use yet, but for your information, Apache ECharts is an Open Source JavaScript visualization library I discovered recently. It is very performant, and we can do almost everything. For example, I think we could use this line gradient chart:
