Listen up, everyone. Be extremely careful with Cloudflare. They are using professional-level scam tactics to drain your bank account under the guise of "extra services." Here is exactly how they tried to rip me off:
The Bait: They offer a basic plan for just $5. You think that’s all you’re paying, so you link your card.
The Switch: I tested their "Clawbot" for exactly two days and then stopped using it.
The Theft: Twenty days later, they attempted a stealth withdrawal of $85 from my card! That’s 17 times the original price for "additional services" I never even used or authorized.
This isn't an "accounting error"—this is predatory, unauthorized billing. They wait until you've forgotten about the service and then try to hit your card for a massive amount in the background without any warning or confirmation.
My Advice:
DO NOT link your primary bank card to Cloudflare. They will bleed you dry with hidden fees.
If you already have an account, BLOCK YOUR CARD immediately and request a reissue. Otherwise, their system will keep trying to charge you until the transaction goes through.
I am filing a formal fraud report and a police complaint against them.
