Need Help Configuring 10Gb HPC Network on TrinityX Cluster

Hi All,

We are using a TrinityX cluster with one admin (controller) node, one login node, and two compute nodes.
The admin and login nodes are connected to the public network, and the compute nodes are connected to an internal network.

We are not using InfiniBand. Instead, we want to use a 10Gb network as the HPC network between the admin node and the two compute nodes.

Could you please guide us on how to properly add and configure this 10Gb network in the TrinityX cluster?

The IB network can be ignored or removed.
The cluster network is your internal network.
For the rest it's pretty straight forward. Easiest way is to let the nodes boot over their 10g link. On the console you can choose which node is which.

Currently, we are using 1G for the cluster/provisioning network and 1G for IPMI. We want to add a separate 10G network dedicated only for HPC computations.
Can we create a new network (named ‘HPC network’) and configure it to be used only for computation traffic?

Yes you can.
There is no real limit how many networks you can have.
