Some co-organizers agreed with the idea and are willing to help start the community, and several other acquaintances are interested.

I haven't yet aligned with anyone to start as official co-organizers, but if necessary I will contact them and request that they create an account on CNCF and send me the information.

What is your mission statement or objective for this new chapter?

My name is José Henrique Paiva, I am a software engineer, currently working as a senior developer, with experience in companies such as IBM, Accenture, and CI&T in different projects as VALE, Santander Brasil and Alelo. I have a degree and am pursuing a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering, focusing on architecture, cloud, and modern engineering.

I would like to express my interest in starting a CNCF Chapter in São José do Rio Preto – SP. The city has great technological potential, with several universities, qualified professionals, and many students in training. However, we still see very few accessible events in the Cloud Native area, and there is a clear gap in connection between the market, the community, and new talent.

I believe that a local Chapter can strengthen the regional ecosystem, bring professionals closer to the market, encourage best practices in cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps, and create real opportunities for those who are still trying to establish themselves in the field.

I am very interested in leading this initiative with responsibility, organization, and alignment with CNCF principles, contributing to the growth of the community in the region.

I am available to discuss and understand the next steps to make this possible.

Thank you very much!
