Investigate MapBiomass secondary forest dataset #3
Description
@puiwah found a GEE dataset and accompanying processing code (see: code, paper, MapBiomass download script in users/tsongkapa/earthshot/Forest).
A non-exhaustive list of potentially interesting questions:
- Does this get us a usable estimate of forest age?
- Does this get us a usable estimate of biomass?
- How extensible is the analysis to another region, like the Cascades or Arkansas?
- Does this dataset provide us information about height that could allow us to sidestep pulling GEDI?
