Rich Presence (Discord-style "Playing ___")

Rich presence makes Discord feel much more connected, and I'd love to see this around. Example

I don't have any timeline for when this will be added, but i've been doing some initial research on an approach to implement this which I'm really excited about.

A lot of effort has been put in specifically to allow this to work seamlessly with games running under Wine / Proton on Linux, which im glad to say is working, but experimental. So this is definitely something im thinking about and eager to work more on. It will most likely be optional and opt-in.

The main thing holding this back at the moment really is that a lot of public homeservers disable user presence which is what I would like to build this on top of, as it would give a bit of extra compatibility with any client that supports displaying user presence messages
