Can't compile on macOS

Describe the bug
I follow the instructions, I set to build a release build for macOS, and it doesn't work. It errors out at pod install

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Download the latest release source code tar, extract, follow build instructions

Expected behavior
The program to build a macOS binary

Connected devices: macOS (desktop) • macos • darwin-arm64 • macOS 26.3 25D125 darwin-arm64

This branch works! Will it work for iOS as well? I'd like to try and help with macOS/iOS support
