Can't get BA Simple Proxy to work on iOs

Man, I thought I hit the jackpot with your script. I am using it to load public XML data from a government (NOAA) server. It works great on the desktop, and great on my Android phone. But it fails on iOs.

Have you tested on iOs? Am I doing something wrong, or is the script not compatible with iOs?

Update... Apparently the Proxy script works with a cell network connection. My test device is not connected to a cell network - only to a wireless internet connection. I wonder, then, if this script would work on non-cell connected iOs devices like the iPad?
