The purpose of this ticket is not really to be an Issue, I just wanted a place where I can put status updates, questions and my other ramblings. And this seemed as good as any!

The Plan

The plan is to develop this extension in the open and have a version 1 at some point in this half of the year.

As I'm developing it in the open, I'd love to get feedback and help from the community. I've had limited experience with TypeScript up 'til now, so I'm more than happy for people to review my code and suggest better ways of doing things.

I'm of course happy to accept pull requests, please keep in mind that the current plan is once this reaches a version 1 I plan to include this in the main Code Alignment repository.

There's something wrong with how I'm inserting the spaces which is leading to only the first insert actually doing anything.
My guess is it's to do with the async nature of the API, Luckily the IEdit interface has a commit method so I can build up a list of the changes then do the commit all at once. Sounds like a cleaner implementation anyway.
