enable re-running the OF for just one or a few tests and not the whole recording

We should find a way to enable re-running the OF for just one or for a few tests and not the whole recording.

Can we tell the OF to start from a particular frame number and/or end at a particular frame number?

There have also been discussions about the OF splitting the single recording into one file per test.

@jpiesing I was wondering if the requirement for enabling the re-running of the OF for just one or a few tests is mainly driven by specific end-user use cases, or if it’s more about simplifying the WAVE testing group's test case validation process. Additionally, are there any scenarios where end users would specifically need to re-run the OF instead of the entire test?

Mostly the latter.

Additionally, are there any scenarios where end users would specifically need to re-run the OF instead of the entire test?

The only one I can think of is where a TV fails but the implementer wants to ask someone for a waiver based on passing with further relaxed tolerances.
