Customize Table Click Behavior

Hello,

I find it a bit unintuitive that clicking on a table always opens a new tab.
I couldn’t find a way to modify this behavior.

It would be great to have an option to disable it, or perhaps change it to require a modifier key like CMD+Click or OPTION+Click instead.

You should see the Ctrl/Cmd + Click popup, like in the screenshot below, no? (which is also documented)

That’s strange - I explicitly tested both options before posting, and neither of them seemed to do anything 😅
Now it’s working for some reason!

Anyway, I’d like to slightly revise my request:
Could we add an option that allows users to reverse the current click behavior?

• Currently: normal click = opens in new tab; cmd+click = opens in same tab

• Desired (optional) setting: normal click = opens in the same tab; cmd+click = opens in a new tab

Of course, the default behavior should stay as it is to avoid confusing experienced users - but it would be great to have this as a configurable option! 😄
