[Feat]: Better handling for multiple connections

🚀 Feature Proposal

Never thought I'd see anything have an opportunity to dethrone TablePlus but, you might be on to something here!

Feature is fairly simple, I'd just be looking for a better way to switch between multiple connections or multiple databases in the same connection.

TablePlus has all open connections linked to on the left sidebar making it a single click to switch between open connections or databases.

Something similar to that would be great.

Motivation

Working across a number of servers, development environments and customers every day so even saving a few clicks makes a difference.

You'll be happy to know that exactly this workflow is already implemented and will ship in the upcoming v0.8.14 release. Here's what's coming:

Quick connection switching

All open connections are pinned to the left sidebar as icon buttons — single click to switch between them, just like TablePlus.

Ctrl+Click grouping & Split View

Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and click multiple connections to select them. Once you have 2+ selected, right-click to open a context menu where you can choose Split Vertical or Split Horizontal.

The selected connections get grouped into a single item in the sidebar, and the editor splits into independent resizable panes — each running its own session:

• Each panel can be focused independently
• Right-click the group icon to separate the connections back to individual tabs

Will be release today with v0.8.14 .
