Virus Flagged during upgrade on Windows 11

Upgrading to the latest version ( 3.6.7 ) on Windows is blocked by Windows defender.

Hopefully a false flag, but 🤷

Microsoft doing Microsoft things again. I don't think we can do anything about this, except hope that they realize at some point that eigenwallet is not a trojan...

I think it would actually help a lot if affected users submit a false-positive report to Microsoft.
Windows Defender detections are often reputation-based, and when multiple independent users report the same file as clean, Microsoft usually reclassifies it fairly quickly.

Choose “Home customer” → “Incorrectly detected as malware/malicious”, upload the main .exe and mention that it’s the Eigenwallet release binary.

The more people who submit it, the faster Defender typically removes the flag.
