Description
What
The following organisations are based in London and offer art therapy for vulnerable children. They may be able to provide us with priority user needs, to help us refine our data set.
How
Email the contact point for each org. Email should be short and reiterate the following:
- That the goal of DML is to build a unique data set drawn from art therapy programmes, to help organisations lobby for better services for displaced and vulnerable children
- That we have already successfully collected drawings made by children at a Refugee Relief Centre in Serbia. This has given us a 'baseline' data set which we want to develop [could mention that HDX are helping us] This includes 'emotive' data such as mood
- That we want to understand more about how data is collected and used within art therapy programmes/practices (including the use of tools/profiles/scales), to ensure that we're including the relevant data categories and fields
- That we are hoping to run an interview or focus group of c 30 min to 1 hr, to answer a core set of Qs
- That we are happy to visit the site at a time convenient to them
Considerations
- This task is not dependent on others
- We have imposed a time constraint of mid-Nov (all insights to be gathered and summarised by this point)
