Light/Dark mode toggle?

I understand that the mode is applied automatically. Is there anyway to provide a button to manually switch the different modes?

I lost access to this repo and unable to gain access after talking with GitHub but a toggle for dark mode is a feature I will be incorporating into the theme with a new repo I am working on publishing right now. More info will be posted to my site at victorwynne.com
