is it possible to evaluate spherical/cartesian basis function values on grid (for DFT purpose)?

Hi~ 
I wonder is it possible to compute the basis function value on given (x,y,z) grid once the basis set is read in and basis functions (pure/cartesian) are constructed? So that the function value can be used for DFT quadrature purposes.
