Command for skipping an upcoming break

You can skip an upcoming break only through the popup button, that appears in the last 10 seconds of a running pomodoro, but not through a command.

gnome-pomodoro --skip jumps directly either to a break (when a pomodoro is running) or to a pomodoro (during a break).

Describe the solution you'd like

Something like gnome-pomodoro --skip-break should skip a break, like you would click on the corresponding button in the popup. This command could be bind to a keyboard shortcut, so you don't have to click on the button in the popup.

That's true. It's not very consistent that Skipping break and the +1 minute are only in this popup. I'll take this into account when reviewing the indicator menu.

You can currently start a new Pomodoro from the indicator menu, which works pretty similar. The closest thing from a command line:

$ dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest='org.gnome.Pomodoro' /org/gnome/Pomodoro org.gnome.Pomodoro.SetState string:"pomodoro" double:0

As to the keyboard shortcut. In future release there should be keybindings for pausing, skipping and rewinding. Skipping a break could be achieved by hitting "skip" twice, though first hit would activate screen overlay. I'm not a fan that a "skip break" shortcut would work only during pomodoro but not during break - it could be rephrased as "start a pomodoro", but then it's very similar to stopping/starting the timer.

Overall, I don't want to make it look as an default action and I would like to consider other options:

• make extending by +1 or +5 minutes easier
• extend Pomodoro to fit calendar events
• after completing 80% of a Pomodoro show up options to start a break (primary action) or to skip a break.
