Make entire editable value blink when editing. #320

Is your feature request related to a problem?
One blinking cursor seems confusing at times. It would be nice to have the entire value blink.
Also there seems to be some timing issues with the blinking cursor at the moment, as the blinking seems erratic.
Describe the solution you'd like?
The entire value blink should be implemented so that the editable value dissapears from the screen for a short amount of time periodically (This is in contrast to the cursor model that makes one character all black periodically).
The blink interval and duty cycle timing should be somehow selectable, so that it is possible to experiment and see what looks best for specific display.
All ideas welcome here in the discussion. For example at what level is it possible to implement this (Menu renderer, display renderer, display adapter)?
