How to: Watchlist ping via Discord

Basicly you can set up a trigger for certain players if you want to get notified, when they join a server.

In my case, I got reports from players that they're suspecting others of cheating. Now, how do I find out when those players comes online? Do I need to check the Dashboard every 10 ninutes? No! I had something figured out and it only takes a few steps!

1. Set up a custom role (in my case: Watchlist)

• Admin Tools -> Custom Roles -> top right press Add role -> Give Name and create
  
  

2. Set up a trigger

• Trigger / Event Tasks -> top right "Add automation" -> 'Name it' - 'Empty Automation' -'Task Group' (All the things you need to set up)
• in my case Watchlist Ping - Empty Automation - DayZ -> Create
  
  

3. Configure trigger

• Run Action when: "Character comes online" -> Action trigger: Conditional "All conditions are met" - "Player Custom role" - "Has" - "Watchlist Ping"
• Add Discrod text Message -> Set up a channel and your message
  Tested with: {charname} {username} {servername} {clustername} {serviceid}
  Worked with: everything above
  You can also set up pings for the message: <@YourDiscordUserID> or Roles <@&RoleID>
  

4. Give Players the role

• Admin Tools -> Players -> Search for desired player, click on it and then click on "Custom Roles" -> Add role to player & set the duration -> Assign role
  

When all points are set, then now everytime the player connects to a server, you get your message to discord

This is the message with all above tested

This is fully upgradeable and changeable. You can do it also for specific games you provide. You can name the group Watchlist ARK, a second Watchlist RUST and so on so you can split it up to have it better sorted
