Error on ctOpen

OSError on ctopen. DLLs open fine and I have the dependencies isntalled.
error
line 24, in ct_open

Hi, Are you having issue with pyctapi or ctypes, ctypes is a python module that provides DLL loading and function calling. It does not seem a pyctapi issue

the previous error that I wrote I fix it by: os.chdir("C:/Users/ryfrach/PycharmProjects/TrainingCallDll/dlls") befor the calling to CTAPIWrapper function

but now when I call to "ctOpen" function I get the error you wrote:
"OSError: [WinError -532462766] Windows Error 0xe0434352"

I need help with that !!! please please!!!!!

OK, First make sure you have
'/CiDebugHelp.dll'
'/CtUtil32.dll'
'/Ct_ipc.dll'
'/CtApi.dll'

files in dll folder. Then make sure that Citect is running on machine with 172.16.11.222

After ensuring all that. See if you are using 64 bit Python. Because mostly we will be using 32 bit Citect with 32-bit DLLs, these will work with 32 bit python only . So both citect DLLs and Python should be of same bitness (either 32 bit or 64 bit)

3. Citect is running at 172.16.11.222 and [CtAPI] Remote = 1

I have tried to use pyctapi with Citect 2018 and it didn't work. In citect 2018 calling convention for DLL functions is different then citect 2015. pyctapi need to be re-written (or heavily modified) to support citect 2018. If anyone has luck using pyctapi with citect 2018 or later please let us know
