On https://getindiekit.com/plugins/stores/gitea the text reads:

Gitea (or Forgejo-based) content store adaptor for Indiekit.

Forgejo arguably aligns closer to indie principles with its openness, and transparency, while Gitea decided to diverge from them, which was the reason for the fork. It may also have become the more popular code forge choice.

Describe the solution you’d like

The menu item might read "Forgejo" or even "Forgejo / Codeberg" to also make reference to one of the largest FOSS code forges that is based on Forgejo. And the text then change to:

Forgejo (or Gitea-based) content store adaptor for Indiekit.

FWIW, the plugin was named gitea long before the Forgejo fork happened (to the best of my knowledge). I’ve considered renaming/replacing the plugin, but it’s not top of my list of worries or priorities.
