I'm conducting a study to understand how professors are using OSS to improve CS courses, and I though this repository would be a great place to find potential interview candidates.
I'm interested in interviewing processors that use real OSS projects in their disciplines/assignments -- that is, not only use Github to manage the discipline. Among the questions, we are interested about (1) how do you choose an OSS to students work on, and (2) how do you evaluate an OSS contribution?
That would be a great help if some of you could spare some minutes to share your insights. The interview takes about 30m. I would like to emphasize that, if shared, your insights will play a prominent role in better understanding this behavior. The results will be organized, categorized, and openly published so everyone can benefit from them, but will anonymize everything before doing so. There will be no follow-up.
I hope to hear from you soon, and do not hesitate in contacting me if you have any question. :-)
