Linear Algebra: cropping figures from Kolman

The text of the new course of Linear Algebra will be from:

I wish to extract the figures from the text as .png files. This will make it too easy for me to create the lecture notes. Each figure should be names as PPP.png, where PPP is the page number; e.g., 031.png. If there is more than one figure in a page they will be named, e.g., as 031a.png and 031b.png
