Provide reports and tools to view application instances

Currently Report gives no visibility over application instances. This makes it hard to use to help you work anything out and forces people to poke about in the limited admin pages. We should work out what reports and tools might help a user work out whether application instances are hooked up in the correct way in LMS.

What do we need?

• At a minimum to be able to see the application instances for an organization (in report)
  • Do we? Is LMS admin pages fine?
• We likely need an application instance "overview" to provide a jumping off point to search for them to go the other way too

We probably don't want to build anything amazingly complex in the report system. For example, if we are doing any fancy comparisons to try and suggest matching application instances or something, then doing it in LMS might be better.

• The above is a bit report centric. This could be an entirely LMS feature?
• Feedback from support:
  • Add last updated to application instances and show it in the UI lms#4965
  • Add the ability to search for application instances by email / domain lms#5001

Some feedback from support people was that it's very good information to have some indication of when an application instance was last active.

This could take the form of the last launch associated with it for example. Another option is to have an updated field.

Both of these suffer in varying degrees by not existing. We have a create date field, but no update field, so if we added one it would only take effect from now. Last launch is a bit better in that it will cover last August to now.

Application instances are associated with groups however, which do have updated dates, so what we could do is create a conventional updated date and then back-fill it with the MAX(created) from associated groups. This would probably be a decent approximation. This also has the benefit of being simple (it's a field on the object you are looking at), rather than requiring any combining with other tables to work out.
