% bin/yask.sh -ranks 2 -stencil test_1d -v -trace -msg_rank 1 -use_shm
...
Allocating 256B for 1 MPI buffer(s) using MPI shm...
[hangs here]
Does not hang w/-no-use_shm or when radius>0.
Found on version 4.04.01.
