Issue
The original site was primarily built using the Markdown/Jekyll framework, but further improvements and styling all but abandon the dependency on these packages. The static site could be streamlined and pared down by eliminating the Jekyll build structure.
TODO
Major re-write of the site layout eliminating Jekyll folder structure and "duplicate" .html files (pre-build vs Jekyll compiled). Look into options for local debug.
