With several issues and pull-requests open for years, it looks like support for this packages is very lacking.
How can we help with maintenance and merging updates?
Is it possible to add more mainainers?

It would seem as though once the Illuminate\Http guzzle wrapper got embedded into, or swallowed up by Laravel, this standalone project has become lost and forgotten... when it could have just lived on as a composer dependency still available to laravel and non-laravel projects alike.
