Fix Applied: Changed DISCORD_ASSETS['large_image'] from "imageai_icon" to "" in core/constants.py:121.

Root Cause: Discord has two separate image systems:

1. App Icon (General Information) - Used in expanded view and when large_image is empty
2. Rich Presence Art Assets - Used by the large_image parameter in compact view

The asset imageai_icon was configured but not uploaded to Rich Presence → Art Assets in the Discord Developer Portal, causing the broken icon (question mark) in compact view.

Solution: Setting large_image to empty string tells Discord to use the App Icon for both views, which already works.

Alternative Fix: If you want a custom Rich Presence image:

1. Go to Discord Developer Portal → Application
2. Navigate to Rich Presence → Art Assets (not General Information)
3. Upload an asset named exactly imageai_icon (512x512 PNG/JPG minimum)
4. Save changes and wait 5-10 minutes
5. Restart Discord (Ctrl+R) and ImageAI

Update - Root Cause Identified:

The member list (compact view) icon and the profile card (expanded view) use different image sources:

Discord Location	What it Affects
General Information → App Icon	Member list compact view (the broken one)
Rich Presence → Art Assets	Profile card expanded view (the working one)

The Fix:

1. Go to Discord Developer Portal
2. Navigate to General Information (left sidebar)
3. Under App Icon, upload the ImageAI icon (512x512 PNG recommended)
4. Click Save Changes
5. Wait 5-10 minutes for Discord CDN propagation
6. Restart Discord (Ctrl+R)

Technical Details:
The member list icon URL is constructed as https://cdn.discordapp.com/app-icons/{app_id}/{icon_hash}.png. The icon_hash only exists when an App Icon is uploaded in General Information. Without it, Discord shows the question mark placeholder.

Previous code change is still valid - setting large_image to empty string in constants.py ensures we don't reference missing Rich Presence assets, which would cause a different question mark icon in the profile card.

When I save a 512x512 as the app icon, it breaks the profile card. It only works with 1024x1024. It must be using the app icon there. Or is the art asset broken? Need help. What are specs for the images? Do we need to set small_image? What's that for?

Research Update - Why App Icon May Not Display:

Even with an App Icon uploaded in General Information, several issues can prevent it from showing:

Potential Causes

1. CDN Propagation Delay (Most Likely)

New uploads can take 6-8 hours to propagate across Discord's CDN. The Developer Portal uses one endpoint while the Discord client uses another, causing sync delays.

2. Discord Client Cache

Your local Discord client caches the old (missing) icon state.

Fix:

• Press Ctrl+Shift+I → Network tab → Enable "Disable cache" → Ctrl+R
• Or: User Settings → Advanced → Clear Cache
• Or: Close Discord completely and delete %appdata%/discord/Cache folder

3. Image Format/Size Issues

• Must be PNG or JPG (no GIF)
• Recommended: 512x512 pixels, 1:1 aspect ratio
• Max file size: 8MB

4. Developer Portal Glitch

Known issue where icons appear in the portal but aren't saved properly. Try re-uploading.

Verification Command

Check if Discord has the icon hash:

• If null → Icon not saved properly, re-upload
• If returns a hash → Cache/propagation issue, wait and clear cache

Recommended Actions

1. Re-upload icon in Developer Portal (PNG, 512x512)
2. Clear Discord cache completely
3. Wait up to 8 hours for CDN propagation
4. Fully restart Discord (not just Ctrl+R)
