New Shut-Down Bug in LM Cinnamon 2.22 #196

Since the latest Linux Mint Cinnamon version came out the OS has a serious bug. It came right with the update for me and I also found it after installing it on 2 other computers.

If the lip of the laptop is closed and there is a second monitor connected to the computer then Linux Mint wont shut down anymore.
If the lid is open everything works fine, it shuts down. But if it is closed when being told to shut down the 2nd monitor loses signal and it seems like it has shut down but the computer is actually still running and if you open the lid you see that it has actually just logged off the user. But you wont notice unless you open the lid. I had my computer running all night for several days and I always wondered what was going on. But since other people had the same problem I noticed what was going on.
