Any idea on how to do drag and drop in linux?

I want to perform the drag and drop action in linux but it doesn't seem possible, not even in wine. I have python 2.7 installed and also tried with python 3. I am stumped. I do not use windows.

What to do now? Has anyone figured it out in linux? And has anyone tried it using a virtual machine with any success?

You should be able to just:

python3 checker_py3.py /path/to/your/dump.bin

you can also use
python3 checker_py3.py and drag you file in the terminal
