Description

This may not be solvable with this "developer-news", and I apologize if it isn't, but why doesn't the VS2017 "Developer News" actually display the old developer news feed that "developer-news" shows?

Steps to recreate

Simply open any recent release of VS2017, Developer News simply contains a link.

"More News..." that will open in a browser, but not to the old developer news.

Current behavior

The news list is replaced with the "More News..." link

Expected behavior - Feature Request

If the old Developer News feed is still accessible, why isn't there a hook or redirect (whatever it is called) that can be setup to populate the VS2017 Developer News window as it exists in VS2017?

I don't know if that is beyond the scope of this project, but it seems for 2017, that still contains the native Developer News window, that it could be pointed to the same place used here so this will provide a one-stop solution for 2017-2022.

With 2017 it just seems strange that a new install of "developer-news" should be required to link the feed to View->Developer News rather than populating the existing "Developer News" window in 2017. Any chance that something like that would even work? Or, has Microsoft permanently crippled the 2017 Developer News display?
