Show 'New' News Items

The old version of developer news built-in 2017 and before showed a 'New' highlight next to items you hadn't clicked on. Is it possible to bring that functionality back in the new plugin? I always liked being able to see which articles I had or hadn't read yet.

You're welcome Mike! I'm glad you find Developer News useful.

I started to implement the NEW indicator, but at first I was confused by what "new" meant, so I left it for later, but then didn't get back to it. After that I noticed that Microsoft had reduced the number of articles down to some small number (I forget off hand how many it was).

At the moment, I'm hard at work on my new Start Page Plus extension, so it might be a little while before I can get to this. Start Page Plus will also have Developer News in it, and rather than just pull the code over, I hope to refactor it a bit as well.

When Start Page Plus is released I can then pull the improved code back into Developer News.
