Issue with SciDraw in Mathematica 14.2.1

Hi, I was trying to use SciDraw (version 0.0.8) which is the latest version I am able to find, but after adding the path to init.m and write in a new notebook Needs["SciDraw`"] I receive this error:

SetDelayed::write: Tag ObjectExistsQ in ObjectExistsQ[Self:Object[A_]] is Protected.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this message? Or maybe where can I find a newest version which seems to be the problem here?
