Terminal is null on call

In the OutgoingSample sample, I get a null TTErminal object when the call is created, specifically in this part of the code
playbackTerminal = currCall.RequestTerminal(
TTerminal.MediaStreamTerminal,
TAPIMEDIATYPES.AUDIO, TERMINAL_DIRECTION.TD_CAPTURE);
I am working with an Avaya IP500 v2

NOTE: The call connects successfully with any phone number but just for speaking, I want to play a WAV file in the call to the receptor and for that the terminal object is needed. Can you help me?
