How to get a specific language variant of an item?

How can you get a specific language variant? In get_content_item you never specify the language.

Get linked item fails when enumerating over all content items. This because modular content does not contain the linked items when using a feed. When enumerating the items in your project using the Delivery API, the modular_content object property will contain only components, not content items used in linked items elements.

You need to edit the get_content_item to the following:
def get_content_item(self, codename: str, query_string=""): url = self.url_builder.build_url(self, f"/items/{codename}", query_string)

Then you can call the get content item as:
client.get_content_item(codename, query_string="?language=es")
