Is there any way to control the location of the popup?
I use multiple monitors and the AI popup always opens far away from my Thunderbird window.

I could add an option to remember the last window position.
Could it fit your needs?

It could be not possible for me to test it effectively because it dipends also to the scaling settings of your monitor.

The first time you open the AI window, move it where you prefer, then close it.
When reopening it should open in the same position.
At the moment there are no visibile options in the ThunderAI preferences, I'll add the field to see and change the position and a flag to activate this feature.

Please follow this steps:

1. Download the file thunderai-v4.0.1_issue685.zip
2. Rename it from *.zip to *.xpi
3. Backup your custom prompts and custom data placeholders if you have any
4. Install this version

Horizontal position is restored, but vertical position is always at the top of the screen.

Activate the debug option in the addon preferences, you should find a line that starts with "Window position saved", another one that has the word "restored".
May you post it here?
Do you see any error in the logs?

It is saving and restoring the values properly.

I put the height and width back in the settings and it seems to be working now. If you have 0,0 for those settings the top doesn't appear to work.

Could you try version 4.0.1_issue685_rev2?

I improved the code and now in the options page you can also see the saved values and set the auto save pref.
In my tests, if the dimension is set to 0,0 the placement is erratic.
I don't think I can do something about it, but I'll try in the next days.

Works fine for me - just one small thing.
The checkbox says: "Automatically save the window position when using the close button" - however, if unchecked is does not restore the popup to the coordinates saved either, even if they are valid. You may want to reword it if that is to be the functionality.
