Still not synching with Server

This issue is occupying me since about 8 months now and I can't get it fixed. I heard that a solution might be to have Nextcloud callable as a subdomain like https://nc.myserver.eu instead of https://myserver.eu/nextcloud.
Since adapting my server is also running wordpress this is a task that I would like to avoid as Apache configuration is a bitch. Also AI didn't provide any meaningful help.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Notes App 4.4.0 from Apple App Store
2. use regual NC credential and go through auth process
3. add note by tapping "+" or restart app

Expected behaviour

Should open Notes edit window or show list of synced files

Actual behaviour

Lengthy Error message stating 404 error
OR when rstarting app
Error Message Synchronizing Notes - The Server request timed out
