I just want to offer some help so we can fix different stuff since I need to more advanced stuff and since you could reduce 300 lines of code it shows how much you have understood the code.

@Kasemyassine2 Hi! I haven't looked at this project for a few months now, but would certainly welcome any help/PRs.

I do still plan on converting to Flatlist at some point as well I just need to set aside some time to do it.
