Streamer bot uses to interact directly with text GDI. Now it has to read from a file

please fill out the steps to reproduce, which exact command are you sending with streamer.bot.
Also did you make sure streamer.bot is connecting correctly to websockets?
From what I see you modified the port from the default.

I added this code now, so it does read from the file. Before i did not need that

• Did you verify that streamer.bot was correctly connecting to websockets
• Did you verify whether that change was caused by a difference in obs versions, or by a difference in streamer.bot versions

• I tested it on an older version, and it worked as intended

I just tested again. Just in case. It works in this version

confirmed bug introduced in obs-ws 5.7.1.

Transferring this to the obs-websocket repo, as this is not an OBS Studio bug.

It is broken by #1331 it will only do obs_canvas_get_source_by_name and not obs_get_source_by_name, so it is broken for all sources that don't require a canvas, so for all sources that are not scenes or groups.
