To make a good use of ofLibs I have to work on OF fork.
I'll be logging development here

now using ofLibs I've noticed the final binary size decreased from 13.1Mb to 6.6 Mb. (Approx 50% file size)
I think this is due to compiling all libraries in Release.

I'm now working in a script to streamline the cloning and installing libs, inspired by brew.sh
copy, paste and done

install script ok, it is on this repo readme (you have a button to copy to clipboard)

next step is making a minimal stripped down version of projectGenerator. provisory name ofGen.
it won't depend of OF core to build.

ofGen initial test ok. starting to parse addons_config.mk with some new ideas.
functions to capture all .a files in specific paths
and all includes folders

Roadmap

• Finish basic ofGen with support of macOS (XCode and Zed) maybe VSCode
• Define ofGen final name
• Upload to a homebrew installable place
• Put ofGen installation on fork install script.

A basic addons_config.mk parser
Parsin all my addons folder, so I get an overview of what is needed.

Now the first version of ofGen is generating a valid and compiling XCode project.
XCode is the hardest one to generate. so the others can stem from it.
now it is a matter of parsing parameters and testing in different projects.

ofGen now works on LInux and RPI
there are new options, like

build template files and opens in editor (first of the templates listed in order that is an editor, ZED, VSCode, XCode)

ofgen open

ofworks now doesn't include ofURLFileLoader in OF Core.
to enable and use you can add the core addon ofxURL
95% of the projects doesn't use it. so it will compile faster and shave about 3, 4 megabytes from binary file.
