How to add add-ons?

Apologies for what is likely a stupid question, but I was unable to find any documentation. The README.md file states "Legacy openFrameworks math is moved aside to an addon called ofxMath. It can be added if needed to access any of these objects...."

How does one go about adding this addon to a project?

ofgen without a recipe of.yml will use addons.make identical to openFrameworks
using of.yml you can add addons there
but I still have to solve this "compatibility mode" where content from ofxMath is added to ofMain.h so projects can build correctly. I'll be working on this soon

it can work now by some provisory means. you should add

ofpath: ../../..

addons:
  - ofxMath

defines:
  - OF_COMPAT

templates: [zed, chalet, macos]

and ofxMath files will be included in ofMain.h

this is not a definite solution as I want to simplify more the "Compatibility mode".

Maybe a flag or a parameter in ofGen that it includes automatically files from ofxMath and other functionalities that will be splitted from core.
