[Feature]: Make cookie popup accessible in Meta browsers (Instagram/Facebook) on mobile #17
Description
Background
When users access links to ULF’s website via Instagram or Facebook stories on mobile devices, the cookie popup covers the action buttons at the bottom of the screen, preventing users from accepting or dismissing cookies.
This blocks further interaction, such as purchasing tickets or accessing other content. The issue has been observed on iPhone 14 Pro Max (iOS 18.6.2) through Meta’s in-app browser, but may also affect other devices and iOS versions. Safari and other standard browsers appear to function correctly, but Meta’s in-app browser requires special handling to allow dismissal of the cookie popup.
Acceptance Criteria
- The cookie popup must be dismissible in Meta’s in-app browser (Instagram/Facebook) on mobile devices.
- Users must be able to accept or reject cookies and access the content normally.
- The solution must not interfere with functionality in other mobile or desktop browsers.
- The popup should remain fully functional and accessible while resolving the overlay issue in Meta browsers.
