How to add secondary information on individual devices

• I'm migrating my old setup from power-flow-card-plus
• on the other integration I can add an extra field as secondary_info on each individual device
• I was unable to :
  • add the SoC of car together with charge power
  • add water temperature together with power on my boiler

For EVSE I have tried to use as an extra battery but multiple batteries are combined on UI this cannot be made by using an extra battery, an way to add secondary line on will be nice to have extra information

Anyone have a hint if it is possible of adding this extra information in current version ?

add a name using an entity id of the secondary thing you want to show.

Thanks, but this is works only when card is with more height, is there a way to allow it on small card, to keep space I can be without an icon.

I use a single template with streamline card, and workds fine removing some data on the smaller card, but I preffer to see the extra information for car SoC than the icon if possible in this small view.

The minimum is 4 rows high at the moment, which is much smaller than your screenshot:

It has to be that way otherwise the devices overlap and clash with the battery/grid labels. If I can find another way I will do it but thats the minimums at the moment.

The first image on my screenshot is 3 rows, the label appear on 4 rows.

Please think about configuration option for replacing device icon with the name in specific devices, this allow the use with 3 rows and extra data.

Correct, but why cant you use 4 rows instead? Its smaller than the second image you posted which is probably 6 rows:

I have different places with different sizes, and I have one dashboard that does not have sections (legacy mode, and will take time to migrate to sections) and the card goes to 3 row mode.

Its possible to force it to 4 rows minimum on an old dashboard ?

sorry that I made the screenshots on section mode but the real use case was on old dashboard, and I missed pointing this.

perhaps for legacy masonry use case I can set a calculated min-height - let me think about it some more.
