Not so compact (card height / extra space)

Hi,

First of all, congrats ! This card is just equally powerful and efficient. This is possibly the very one I was missing for a long time.
Now, I do have a little problem I can't deal with, hence the issue :-)

When changing the number of rows, the visible background height is well adjusted, but the card height looks like 2 rows are added at the bottom of the card (the red zone).

As a result, the card adds an extra space on the dashboard.

This behavior only happens when no battery is available/configured.

FYI, I use the very default theme, without any style modification. Browser cache has been cleaned, and I checked on multiple clients.
I use version 1.3.3.4, HA is up-to-date (core : 2026.1.0 / UI 20260107.0).
I do have a pv/grid + few (2) devices.

I just tested, setting the card to 2 rows and 12 columns, is this not what you want?

This is what I want, but not what I get ...

Anyway, I did found a workaround. When adding the card directly in a section, I do have an extra 2-rows-like space adding at the bottom of the card, but when adding the card in a grid (with only this very card), the extra space does not appear. As I'm probably the only one experiencing this, feel free to close this issue.

when you say its not what you get, are you sure the grid rows/columns are set? You should see grid_options in the YAML:
